assortment of finds @ the carnival grounds

I got back to the carnival grounds and decided to give myself a "break" from the 4 hour "condensed" coin hunts I have done in the last few outings and instead just ran lines across the field. Found 3 quarters, 11 nickels ( best day thus far for nickels with the GT) 10 dimes and 33 pennies most that have been "consumed" by the ground minerals. Found a neat button with diamonds ( I can dream can't I ? lol ) a religious medal and a 1943 Merc. plus the usual junk items.

Thanks for looking & wish you great finds. - Jim

Thanks FKP. I went back today and used the 10" tornado. I haven't used the 10' for a while and man it felt like a man hole cover lol. But I will say this, the 10" tornado seems to hit harder on coins compared to the 8" tornado and certainly goes deeper. I saw that today with some of the deep wheats I pulled out. Although at the carnival lot there is certainly more nulling with the 10" as it just doesn't seperate as well compared to the 8" tornado. However, I did manage to pull 9 wheats, 1929, 1931, 1935, 1941, 1942, 1945, 1946, 1953-D, 1955, and 1 canada cent from 1945.
