Artillery pin dug today, led to another find.

Went detecting couple hours this morning, few finds were a 1928 wheat, 1944 wheat, and an Artillery pin? I searched the web for info but never could identify it any further. But through my searching for the pin I came across a familiar looking ring that said ORAN 1944, (as it turns out I dug this ring about 7-8 months ago at a different vacant lot. I didn't know what it was or meant and threw it into the treasure box.) I remembered it and compared it to the picture and bingo! It is "Trench art" ring from WW2, The invasion of Oran, Casablanca and Algiers in North Africa 1944. Compare the pics, each is unique.

I got one one year that was marked "Sicily, 1944" - found on a vacant lot, too!
