Yesterday I was at a high traffic tot lot down by the river and found three ear rings
and a silver ring that looked like new droppings.

Today Vaquero strikes again. I went to another high traffic tot lot and found 5 shinny
quarters, shinny dimes. Also part of an ear ring, a broken silver chain, a zoo penny
token and a few other new droppings. Hunted a little over two hours.

The best find today was a freshly dropped junior 925 silver ring with a CZ.

Excuse the fuzzy pics. If you drink 10 or 12 beers and squint through one eye, it will
look just right.

Thats right. "Tot Lots" are the bark chip or sand filled play areas that kids play in. They are normally festooned with swings and climbing bars and all sort of play equipment, as well. AS you may have guessed, it isnt only the little ones losing their pennies, either - it can be the grown ups, too. Ive found some nice jewelry in such places. I recall a nice diamond ring found under a bench at one...

There's a monument with a plaque at the river park. The plaque commemorates the city and the JC's for the park.
There is a bench built onto the monument. At night no telling what goes on at that bench. I have found jewelry
strewn all around the monument. I call it the love monument.
