Arkansas governors Photo contest..

A few months ago, I was made aware that our governor had a photo contest on the web. I entered , not having any idea of being considered, since I have only been into digital photography less than a year. I won first place in one of the categories. Really surprised.

the Governor hangs a sign on the place making a 'place of historical significance' and the state archeologist tells you you can't hunt there.

I'm too thin-skinned to put my photos out there for someone to put a ribbon on another photo that isn't as good. Your photo was excellant and I'm not talking about it. I see what I'm talking about every year here at the county fair and no I haven't entered because of that. It is good to see that a great shot did win. Keep up the good work.
