HEY GUYS HERE ARE A COUPLE OF FINDS FROM MY 13 MONTH STAY IN WILLCOX ARIZONA.

I FOUND THIS QUARTER (TOTAL MINTAGE 10,980) ( ABOUT 50 KNOWN TO EXIST TODAY) IN FRONT OF AN OLD 1880s RESTAURANT ALONG THE RAILROAD TRACKS. THE CITY BROKE UP THE SIDEWALK AND SEVERAL OF US GOT IN AN AREA OF ABOUT 8'X25' AND FOUND ABOUT 20 COINS MINTED BEFORE 1900. I FOUND THIS QUARTER ( WITH MY 1236X2) ABOUT 2 INCHES DEEPER IN A HOLE THAT ONE OF THE OTHER GUYS DUG. JUDGING BY THE SCRATCH IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE IT WAS ON ITS EDGE.

I FOUND THE 1889 DIME , IN ALMOST UNCIRCULATED CONDITION, IN AN OLD RAILROAD CAMP THAT WAS OCCUPIED FROM 1889 TO 1892 WHILE THEY MOVED 4 MILES OF TRACK THAT KEPT WASHING OUT.

I used to live in AZ, but I wasn't into detcting back then. Sure wish I was. Those are some beeeeyoootimus coins.
I was detecting in my neighbors yard once and found an 1842-0 dime. Previous owners had brought in some fill dirt, apparently. Sure wish I knew where all that dirt came from - or ended up!

Rlwlofts, great find. The 1236X is still one of my favorite detectors.A lot of users get frustrated with the clicks and pops, but if you endure this Fisher will reward the user.

That is one amazing coin find. One of the best I have seen on here in a long time!
