Are Your Piles As Big As Mine

Went to a couple of places which I usually hunt only once a year, and because I have been doing these places for about 10 years, the trash is at a minimum. My first time I hunted each one, it took about 6 hours to clear the trash and get the keepers. Now, after a little more then a couple hours, I can clean them up, removing a lot of the trash and getting the keepers. My first park I hit got me a nice gold ring with a tiny stone in it. The second place I hunted was just loot and very Little trash.

Why the trash in the pic? Because I want all the newer people in this hobby to understand that we all dig a lot of trash. Most don't post it because it's ugly. So, you get the impression that experienced hunters just dig the good stuff. That is simply not so, in fact, if you cherry pick only the good sounding signals, your overall finds will be minimal.

So....keep your coil to the soil and dig as many signals as possible!

Nice 10k find.
Congrats !

Great ring! If I hadn't found one my last time out I'd probably be jealous! (Wrong, I'm jealous.)
