I have one which was bought ( mint, but used ) primarily as a back-up.... Hunted a few times with it, but just didn't seem to hunt right... Sent it back to whites for a thorough going over, only to find out the coil was no good.. They also replaced all the internal electronic too boot !! Really haven't hunted with it since its been back, so I guess I'm really askin... if your a user, whats your overall impression of the "tector" Good, bad..any / all,

Thanks. Mark ( ohio )

It's a shame there's not more chatter. The 6t is a very underrated detector. It's a Prizm with Spectrum features. In fairness I don't own one but I have seen one in operation and got to use it myself a bit and it is a very good machine. It's got a good readout and depth reading and the notch discrimination worked very well. The guy who owned the machine was doing quite well and he wasn't wasting much time digging worthless targets. He knew how to read it. I really was impressed.

I've read many good comments on it. Have been considering one myself when the budget allows.

I read some good comments about the Prizm 6T but ......
the general consensus seems that the M6 or MXT would be a much
better buy for the money.

Besides, if my memory is correct the coil selection is limited!

I would agree that it has some nice features.

Actually, the coil selection was much improved when the added the little 4X6 shooter.
