Are there any DD coils available for CZs?

Not readily available. They did make a few, but they didn't perform up to expectations so they never made it to market. Ive seen a couple pop up on eBay over the years, and know of one being used with some success in California, but their as rare as the CZ-75 :)

Hello Greg,

Brian is right, a few prototype i believe only 4 or 5 CZ DD coils were made. I have one of them, its mounted on a one of a kind CZ-3D. Been modifed, overall the DD is good gets decent depth.

Use the DD stricky for gold jewerly hunting, school yards or soccer fields.

A few DD coils are out there, hard to find though.

Paul how is the depth of that DD compared to the stock 8" concentric? Also how stable is it during operation?

The elliptical DD is very stable, can't remember depth differences but they are both very close.

Only one minor issue, the elliptical DD is a little heavy for it's size. Not unbearable but noticeable, but overall i like it.

Take care,
Paul

Next time one of those come up on fleabay, I'm on it! I've seen 2-3 over the last ten years or so pop up on there.
