Are the Sovereign elite 10" coil, and the Excalibur 1000 10" coil the same????

Could I buy a Sovereign 10" coil, and install it onto my Excal 1000????? Or is there a difference? I don't see any.

Difference between BBs coils and Tornado coils.......weight. The tornado may swing in the water a little easier because of physical dimension. Otherwise should be no difference.
By the way....the Tornado is still heavy.
Don't see that you would gain anything.

The mounting ears are mounted a little more toward center of the coil also Art(on the 10" Tornado coil). You can feel the difference when swinging them. The thinner profile also makes it easier to swing in the water.

Only have one 10" coil, so have not considered the difference in the mounting location.

Only worry about the physical center for pinpointing purposes.
