Are the ID numbers on Vision stable on deeper targets?

Havent read all the posts but dont remember seeing one that talks about the ID numbers on deeper targets. Seems like most ID detectors are only good for 6" or less with a steady (not jumping around) ID of the target. Especially on nickels. Is the vision any different?

It has the same characteristics but...lot's of signals read true as deep as 10". Guess it depends on the variables. (I had a Seated Dime read true at 9" w/ iron adjacent to it.)

Metal detecting isnt easy I tell ya...Even if you have the best detector for deep ID that changes inside iron trash....

When it comes to deep id the digging tool will help you more then any detector I have owned, the single factor i need is if it beeps at all... Not all do that on my targets...and the single freq 22.5 have been reported to do just that...

I will buy my V3 not only for the features i like, I like a few of them...but also to honor whites for taking the time to make a different detector and to honor their customers with valuable products....thats not devaluated any time soon....

The ones who think like me will understand.....

Not bashing any product, just my guts coming up...

One thing that would make me buy a top of the line whites machine, especially a used one, over other brands is the fact the warranty is transferable.

I can see lots of variables causing many situations - no matter, I always do the audio and the display screen is secondary. If I can get a good repeatable audio, I'll dig no matter what the screen displays. But a good screen lock is nice to see also.
