Are headphones covered

Looks like my headphones on my Etrac have given out. They were the Kosses that came with them. I have not contacted minelab yet, thought I would ask here. The machine is less than a year old.

Yes, they're covered. Mine went out within the first month of purchasing my etrac...I called minelab and they sent me a new one and they didn't even want the old ones back.

Buy a better pair, the koss ones they send with the etrac are pretty low quality IMHO

Thanks guys..I just got a pair of "B"'s but will contact minelab in the morning ,always can use a extra pair

I kind of agree with GFE, but for some strange reason I got used to the sound of the minelab phones and actually prefer them to my higher quality ones. The wire by the connection on mine frayed and needed to be replaced last year, Minelab covered with no problem.

I use mine as a backup. You will like the B's. They are not as "flat" to my ears as the Koss. Every ones ears are different, that's why there are so many different speakers made.
