Maybe some of your D-Cams don't have a RAW mode but I highly recommend(sp) using it. It's a versatile format while shooting the image and editing the image in the computer..
I shot this image in RAW because the couple were in the shade and that causes a blue tint to the image. I did want to take the time to play with white balances while shooting. I just wanted to capture the moment the bring the image home and tweek it in The Nikon Capture Software. I changed the white balance while editing the image at home to "The shade mode or cloudy mode" and the skin tones popped right out to normal. I Love The RAW Mode.
