Are 1940's bottles worth anything?

Mosley

New member
I have found a place full of 1940's bottles. They range from coke bottles, beer bottles, ink wells, lotion bottles, and lots of other kinds. Most of them are unbroken. Are these old enough to have value?

Some can be. Especially milk bottles. They can fetch up to several hundred dollars each!

Nice, they are unbroken, I swear some teenagers will find a site like and be sure to break every last one. CO

Go grab them up. You could be sitting on a gold mine!

Thanks for the information. I went back today and got a lot more. Some still have the plastic and metal lids attached. I found a Pepsi bottle that had Carlsbad NM on the bottom of it. One ink bottle had a lid on it and still had some ink in the bottle. I will see if I can take a picture of some of them.
Are beer bottles from the 1940's worth anything.
