Enjoyed that video,i still own and use 2 of these old Arado 120b detectors, dont use them all that much but when they do come out to play they bring a massive smile, only problem that i find with them that stops me using them more often is the weight of them, they also are very agricultral design wise, but they certainly do a superb job and reasonably deep. They had been the must have machines back in the 1980's,only trouble is they are getting harder to find a genuine working one,i think i am right in saying once the circuit board or components go they are nearly impossible to repair mainly as the company used a coating on the board and also the components had most of the details 'erased' to stop other folks copying them.

Yes,i use to own a Saxon X-1 for a short time,a very similar machine but much later and also they much deeper infact on steroids,i am based in the UK so not a problem, they are great fun but not a machine you would use everyday, prehaps maybe bring out every so often to bring back some nostalga but thats about all.

The Saxon was deep, but sold it on as was offered some good money by someone, but would not buy another one as would tend to use a Pulse for far less money to do the same job depth wise that is.
