Hey, I see this on Ebay, I read about it in forums, many have told me that it sucks, that the earphones flood up and don't work good. They have told me that the discimination feature is nothing but a button that you switch from right to left. That it doesn't work good, and that the salt water messes it up.
Now after all that, I am still interested. Does it work good on land.
For UNDER $200 bucks, I think its a good deal.
Now I want you guys to tell me the truth, talk me out of it if you have to.

I live in Miami florida, I wanted to go to the sandbars and look for stuff there in the water, you know, not so deep, at most 10-20 feet deep, and I doubt that, so would this one be good for me. It is waterproof and all.

Let me know.
Below are the details of this item.

1. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND, I need one ?????????
2. LINK ME TO A GOOD ONE ????????
3. What is a good detector for under $300 or $200 ???????

I believe that there are some good deals out there, I don't know if this is one of them. It seem that you have heard a lot of junk about it, you get those comments with the more expensive models also. So it comes down to your wallet, if this is within you budget then go for it. I have chosen the DetectorPro HH Diver and the Garrett Infinium LS, both are great units, I had read a lot of crap about the Infinium but did more research and bought one, I have found it to be all untrue. It's really your call based on a dollar value.
