Has any one tried ,or does any one own an Aquavision Pro detector (by Treasure Hunter)
Would appreciate your comments because with a limited budget it looks an attractive alternative to
Sovereigns etc for the beach.

I think only the price is attractive.I personlly would rather have a used Sov. than
a new cheap detector.Have seen some of the older black box Sov.'s recently
for under $300.Believe me ,the difference between the Sov. and that detector
is like day and night. Not even close.Try to find a reputable seller on the
forums with a used Sov.,that can guarantee it works correctly, and you'll
be in a much higher league of detecting right from the start.Nothing worse
than a poor performing detector. On salt beaches the difference between
even a good brand of single freqency detector and the Sov. is astounding.
The first time I tried a Sov. I couldn,t believe how much better detecting was
from my high end single freq.machine.You will thank yourself later. There is
always a risk in buying a used detector, but buying from reputable forum
members, and talking to them in person on the phone first, takes most of
the risk out.I've not had a bad deal yet.Good luck on the choice.HH Joe
