April was a good month in Montana

The ground finally thawed at the beginning of April and I was able to start usning a Minelabs E-trac instead of my DFX. I am rehunting some of the more productive places I hunted before and had a pretty good month for keepers. Thanks for looking.

Nice 1901 S Barber dime. That one is worth lots!!! Pays for some of your machine. Great amount of silver, and it seems that your ground is kind to copper also.

By the way have you hunted the Columbia Falls School much.I lived there and hunted it some back in the late 90s .I am sure I left a lot as my machine was not even close to the E-Trac,Ray.

I noticed that about the soil in the area. Old pennies seem to come out of the ground in pretty good shape unless there has been a lot of fertilizer used in the past like some of the parks. Then it can look like it actually was buried for that long.
 
pretty good finds is a understatement! WTG on them all. GOT TO LOVE THAT E-TRAC!!!
