Apparently the Fisher-BH-FT story has been re-canted

By the individual who posted it on another forum site, and is now fingering a dealer as the source, complete with a photo of the dealer.

I'm sure if you just sit back, and relax, in a few weeks it will all be out in the open.

By the way, it's not Bounty Hunter that's purchasing Fisher, it's the parent company of Bounty Hunter that is.

Take a look around, Bounty Hunter has improved it's quality, and performance lately. They hired engineers John Gardiner, and Dave Johnson, this alone should say they mean to make a mark in the detector world. They have started a "Pro" manufacturing division, and their first detector the Teknetics T-2 can hold it's own very well.

Fisher was stuck between a rock and a hard place, and it was not moving forward in the hobby detector world. It was only a matter of time, and it would be closing it's doors. This new purchase thing with the parent company of Bounty Hunter/Teknetics could be a lot worse if they don't do it.

Hang tight. :)
