General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I would like to apologize to all forum members. I did not handle that well. Normally I would blame it on my Irish ancestry .. but I should have just kept my cool. Lessons learned .. tomorrow is another day. Hope I am still welcome here.

Moderators are welcome to leave my rants up so folks can see how NOT to handle a dispute .. or remove them. Your call .. thanks.
 
Well my wifes dad was from Min. so i understand.It is those dang cool winters that get to ya.Just joshing he was really a laid back guy.

Any way i am a little nervous not as i am awaitong to receive an item i bougt from silverman. I feel everything will be good but time will tell.

I know you will not have any trouble with Silverman......He really is a great guy.........it's to bad these things have to happen..I know I have done a lot of trading and sometimes things just happen....I know he would make it right.....!!!
 
Guys Silverman is a great guy and he will do whatever it takes to make the deal right! I have dealt with him before and would deal with him again in a heartbeat!! McDave give Silverman a chance and he will make it right!! I seriously believe he had the foggiest that the wiring looked like that or he would have chunked it in the trash or would have sold it for as is for a tinker project.
 
Thanks for sticking up for me guys. I can guarantee you I had no idea it was like that, and offered to take it back. I sold a G2 to a forum member recently, and he had trouble with it. I didn't ask any questions, just refunded his money, and took it back. I had no idea there was a problem with it, but took him at his work, and made it right. I have probably made over 100 deals of buying or selling on here for a reason, I pay on time, and stand behind what I sell. I will take the high road on this one, and refrain from saying how I feel about the way it was handled, and apologize to McDave for the situation. While I don't condone his behavior, I understand why he is upset. I think established members like myself deserve the benefit of the doubt, and the opportunity to make things right without being slandered, or cussed out in a pm.
Thanks once again for standing up for me Baxter and Morgan, I really appreciate, and consider you friends.
