hi all im the person who not long ago came on here and slagged off garretts for bad after sales policy. My machine was 7 motnhs old and the button stuck so i sent it off. Thats where everything went wrong (see my posts). Anyway a very kind man (uncle will) got to name you mate, got in touch with garrets and my machine was sent off to regtons in uk. I just received my machine back opened it up and guess what yip still didnt work tidy, SHOCK HORROR wat the hells goping on. i will tell you wats going on check your batteries thats what I had rechargables and normal ones in which made the machine go crazy when batteries nearly flat. So I would like to take this oppurtunity to apologise to everyone that was offended by my previous post and i take back all that i said about garrets.I realise i must have hit a nerve in my last post as so many of you stood up to be counted. Well I hope my apology goes someway in building new bridges and a very big thankyou to Uncle Willy (without whom this would never have been resolved)
cheers once again.
Dioclh yn fawr.

It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. You didn't make any friends last time around. Apology accepted from me. Thanks for sharing the low battery problem. The first few times mine went low I thought my machine was wigging out. Oh well, life is full of lessons. Happy Hunting form across the big pond.

I am happy that the solution was found, no matter what the cause. Garrett has had first class support to all of us here, thats why we couldn't understand why you weren't getting the same. Hat's off the Uncle Willy for his addressing the issue. It's action's like that, that makes this a great community.
