Anything particular about a CZ6 with serial # starting with 117??

I see lots of posts on 1201 or something about CZ's. Anything I should know about mine??

Basically ser#'s are being used to weed out Fishers built by the old and new Fisher and if you have a CZ6 it was manufactured in 92-93 by the old Fisher and if your 4 wire coil setup held up no problems except perhaps due to its age may need a tuneup but if you feel its working well leave well enough alone....

Works great but just wondering if it was unique due to its serial number.

Considering it was made in the early 90's goes to show you even units close to 20 years old can kick butt...sort of take a licking and keep on ticking if I remember the old watch commercial...

I made the mistake a couple years ago of selling my original CZ-6. I presently own a Minelab E-Trac and I have no complaints about it except for it's weight.

I have been looking for a Fisher CZ-6 to replace it to no avail. If you come across one for sale in perfect operating order would you please PM me. It would be much appreciated. Thanks Rick IL
