Anyone with practical experience on the Depth Multiplier for the 2500?

I'm going to start doing a cache search in an area near here and I'm not sure my present coil arsenal will accomplish what I'm looking for. According to the information I have, my target is 4 to 8 inches high by 12 to 18 inches square. I have no idea on depth. I'm guessing the passage of time has probably added 4-8 inches to whatever depth it was buried at in the first place.
I have both imaging coils for my 2500 as well as the 12.5" and the 5x10. I had the 10x14 DD but didn't much care for it although it might have been just the thing for this endeavor. I'm guessing the soil mineralization will be quite high but there should be almost no trash to get in the way.
I'm hoping to get some comments on the depth multiplier as it works on the 2500. The area I'm going to be searching is probably 15-30 acres. I know it's going to take some time, but if I find it, it'll be well worth it.
I'd love to hear from anyone with experience with the depth multiplier.
Thanks for your help!
