Jackhammer and I will be going on the TOP GUN out of H&M landing in September for a 2.5 day tuna trip out of San Diego. I have been on this boat before and it is a hoot.

The boat leaves Sept 17, and comes back the 19th. Here's the website, http://www.hmlanding.com/boats/topgun.htm, it's trip number 40.

The trip includes all of your meals.

Sure it's an invite. It isn't exactly cheap, $680 but it includes meals and a lot of fun. Knock on wood I've been out three times and have caught Tuna Every time.

I'll stick to the caned stuff, only a $1.29 a can and I don't get sea sick going to the store. + I can walk a lot farther than I can swim. :rofl:Grubstake

I was raised in Monterey Calif. back in the 50's and 60's, we used to go deepsea fishing, way out passed the break waters in my uncles 16 ft boat, one time my cusin hooked a 6 ft. shark, my uncle pulled it in the boat, 4 of us in the 16 footer+ that 6 ft long shark, still alive, that thing was snapping and champing and my uncle took a small baseball bat and started beating the hell out of it. Still alive, he hooked the bow rope around the sharks tail and got it back in the water, then powered up the boat, dragging the shark backwards, until it drownd. We tried to eat it, but if tasted like eating a mouth full of sand. all my family worked the sardine canneries when they were running in Monterey. Good old times. Grubstake

Thanks, I will pass on the fishing trip...but the dinner invite is always open. You can generally buy or rent anything you need on the boats, or at the dock before you load up.
Good luck!!!
