Anyone using the V3 in Bad ground? What settings and programs are working please?

I am hoping to go to the DIV hunt in October and the other ones I have been on have the worst ground I have ever seen. I am spoiled here because I can crank my boost on, gain to 15 and disc sens to 88-92 and am getting minnie balls to 14" so far measured and can tell I could find them 1 or 2" deeper if I ran across them but that is in very low minerals here in the Tri City area of Virginia. In Culpepper area where the DIV hunts usually are is a totally different story and many guys are using TDI's or MXT's. Does anyone have some good experience in that area first of all and if not anywhere in the Country that gives a 2 filter VLF detector a hard time? Any suggestions appreciated.

I have been using only the high pro program and love it here.

I'm fairly spoiled where I'm at too but have had to deal with some heavily iron contaminated ground and EMI. What has helped me is Correlate (for multi-frequency), 5hz band and a smaller coil. In an area where there were low hanging transmission lines, I had to offset frequency, use a 5.3 coil ,w/22.5 only, in a "Coin" type configuration. (All this in addition to playing with the sensitivities.) I'm sure that more could have been done but this got me through the area with about 22% degradation and and still was easily finding stuff @ 6"+. ( These dang lines cut right through some likely "good spots" and need to work on the settings more.)

I agree....High Pro is my "meat and potatoes" program too.
