anyone using the Lobo?

I'm thinking of getting the Tesoro Lobo and would like
to hear from others who are using one.

I'm just hunt parks or salt water beaches for jewelry
and was wondering how the Lobo Super trac would
work on a Fresh Water beach.

I assume that you can get the coil wet and not
have any issues.

You might be better off with a Tiger Shark if you are going to hunt jewelry and fresh water beaches. I am a Lobo SuperTRAQ owner and user (in desert conditions hunting Gold Nuggets), and I have a Sand Shark for Saltwater hunting. Look into the Tiger Shark!

I am not using the Lobo, but if all your doing is parks and beaches(Dry sand) take a look at the Vaquero or Tejon .

I don't know much about metal detecting in general, however I do have a Tesoro Lobo ST I use for nugget hunting, it works very well and is pretty light to pack. When I do find a nugget I go get my gpx 4500 and try to pick the place clean.
