Anyone Using the 5x10DD for Coinhunting?

. I like the 9in. stock coil alot. Plan on a 6in. soon for the trashy areas etc. I also have this new 5x10 DD and I'm wondering if it is also a good coil for coin hunting? I'm getting good depth and ID with the stock coil on copper and silver but my nickel count seems to be only fair so far. Wondering if the the HF coil would help? Hope to hear back from you folks who have used the optional coils for coins and jewelry. Thanks Joe

Hi Joe,
I do not use any thing else but the dd 5x10 and beleive me it is spot on for coverage, depth, and pinpointing. With the pinpointing i go over the target after going over the target i line it up on the back of the coil centre then move forward 1-2 inches put into pinpoint and then just come back moving the coil 1 inch with a wiggle, move forward when the signal stops and you are on the money.
Hope this helps joe.
