Anyone using a non-Fisher coil on their F75?

Curious as to what others are using besides Fisher coils. What are you using and do you like it? What size? What do you mainly hunt for? Thanks in advance for any responses. HH. Matt

I've got two coils that came with my second locator, a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 Pro and thought I might try them, since they are made by First Texas, as well. But, no can do. It seems the F75 utilizes a 5 pin female plug on the housing and a male on the coil.....just the opposite on the Pioneer 505, scratch that!

Had that problem on the 1270 when I wanted to extend the cable to 7' for the hip and chest mount just changed the one connector from an old cable or go to electronic store maybe radio shk. and buy the 1 connector and put it on the Adapter cable it only has to be a short piece worked great on my 1270 and save ed me the money of buying a 3 diff. coils with 7' cables. Fisher used the sell them, I tried to get them from them and they said they didn't sell such an item I told them I bought a 555_D hip mount kit from them and the cable was supplied in the kit, it was in the 80's he remembered hearing about that kit, but no longer avail. So I just made it. I'll post a pic if you want it?
