Anyone using a HOTSHOT coil on there M6 and what do you think of this coil?

The Hot Rock was designed by the Wizard of Loop, Jim Karbowski, to deliver improved depth over the standard 950 Loop. It also pin points and balances better.

On the Jimmy Sierra Discovery Tour over in England, I was about 100 yards from Professional Detectorist 'Dutch' who got two signals using the DFX.... Extracting the stronger signal revealed a 5" piece of ferrous. About 2" away and 7" deep, Dutch found the groups first gold coin of seven found on that tour in 2004. This proved the ability of the Hot Shot to Tag deeper desirable targets.

In 2006, Professional Detectorist, Mike Martin, a regular on the Jimmy Sierra Tours found a Gold and Ruby Broach that was immediately declared treasure and valued at approximately 20,000.00. He was using the MXT and 12" Hot Shot configuration which was a preferred combination amongst that group using the MXTS, DFXs and XLTS.

is all that its advertised to be...and then some, surprisingly well on small deep targets too. My experience with it is on the XLT, but I can see this coil doing well with the newer advanced ground tracking units as well. You would definitely have an advantage on depth with this coil in your line-up.
