Anyone used Z Lynk on 705?

Just looking at purchasing a Garrett Z-Lynk for my X-Terra 705 to go cordless. Just wondered if anyone has done this and if it works OK?

Never used the zlink,,But I did use the detenix wireless w6 headphones on the 705,worked great..Another set I’ve used were the tdk wr700 wireless, and they also worked great.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up buying the Deteknix/Quest ‘Wire Free Mate’. This system has enough battery to power itself for 24 hours continuous use. I also like the idea that in the event of a battery going flat whilst detecting, I can switch the headphones back to regular ‘tethered mode’ in less than 30 seconds. A bit cheaper than the Z-Lynk and very good reviews.

yes z-lynk works fine with every detector I have except the e trac

Two Q's here: 1. Yes, the 'Z-Lynk' works with the 'X-Terra's', but the Volume can be 'low'

2. John67: I'm using the 'Z-Lynk' with the 'E Trac' but, you need a good strong rubber band 'cos the black one provided won't fit around the square shaft. Volume is low too but...it's wireless!!!
