If anyone could tell me how good she went in depth and what type of nuggets were found....size of course that would be great.
Thanks.

The lack of response probably answers your question.
Most people down here use minelabs for gold.
Here's the email address for the Tesoro range of detectors in Australia.
metaldetectors@optusnet.com.au
Might be able to help.

I kind of understand where you are coming from. The PI detectors from minelab definetly suit our rugged country for depth but Im always intrested on how other brands go on our soil and am fully aware that tesoro are VLF detectors. Price range / power and ease of use are important factors as everyone knows and not everyone can afford a GPX 4000 at $5000 AU. Sure you can buy the sd 2000 / sd 2100 and the sd 2200 for a reasonable price and are all very good gold detectors. But still it would be nice to hear some feedback about the Lobo ST here in Australia. If no one uses a certain item that doesnt automaticly mean it is a bad product it just means no one has given it a fair go m8. By the way I have never seen anyone use a PI detector down on the beach or in a park being a gold detector and all. But the Lobo being a VLF detector can be used anywhere even though its specificly designed gor gold. When you have a country as big and as vast as Australia and your waving around a coil between 8" to 15" it doesnt matter how deep your machine goes you just cant possibly cover every peice of ground. There will always be some shallow gold that some poor fool walks right over and to never know the wiser. So VLF - PI any detector is worth its weight in gold.
Cheers!

As hardly anyone's been using VLF detectors here for the last 10 -12 years I would think there is a build up of the sort of gold they find.
I remember a tall Victorian using a Lobo (I think) around Leonora in the early '90's and doing very well.
You beter get out there and see what you can find with it..:)
