Anyone use this coil on a MX5

10x6 SEF WSS Coil.
 
I bought one and tried it and the 5.3 eclipse on my MX5. I liked the 5.3 better on my MX5. I ended up putting the 5x10 WSS on my DFX, and I like it on that detector for playgrounds and trashy areas. To me, the 5.3 seems like a perfect match for the MX5.
 
I use the 5.3 on my MX5 last couple weeks and found around $18.00 in clad...1897 silver dollar..1908 Barber dime...1946 rosie dime..many Wheaties..this is places where I have hunted with my VX3 already....very impressed with the MX5....like it better than my VX3 right now...
 
I have tried an assortment of aftermarket DD coils with my MX5 [size=small](and my MXT All-Pro as well)[/size] that several of my friends have owned. I've also worked some on competitor's models but reached the same decision I had before evaluating tem .... I prefer the MX5's stock 9" spider Concentric for more open/spare-target sites, but keep White's 6
