Anyone use the V3 on the beach yet?

Both Capt Leno and Jason have made posts on the V3 on the beach. Concentric coils seem to be the answer. George on another forum said the same thing. Do a search for their posts. Rob

Thanks! I just read Capt Leno's post.

I'm glad that the V3 is said to do well on the beach.
I ordered the 5.3 Eclipse and I think it will be the standard coil for me
since I heard so many good things about it.

I depends on the type of hunting you Larry. I've got the 5.3 but I don't use it unless I have to because it covers so little ground. In trash it is great but for the beach I would have to opt for the 9.5. Check Jason's posts on the 9.5 at the beach. On a beach there is just so much ground to cover. Rob
