Yep. The thing is a lot quieter, also. You're not gonna cover much ground but the added signal strength on tiny rings make up for it. Also, as you probably know by now, you can't get within a foot of playground bars with the standard brown coil and you can get within 2" with this one. Also, it feels like you're just swinging a shaft-no weight. Discrimination features and target masking are better taken care of with this coil.

Thanks for the information slingshot, it looks like a hockey puck! Lol! HHH.

I went out with mine today-your post made me change coils for old time's sake. Found a quarter right on the edge of a sidewalk that would sound off with the brown coil-that was kinda neat. It SLAMS on the targets and the famous Tesoro "trash talk" is really noticeable. Really great for small, trashy areas. I just left it on for some of my tot lots whenever I can get enough time away from my Compadre.

I'm sold on the 4" coil, I bought the 10x12 coil and it rocks, I call the combo the silver devil cause it gets down deep, thanks again SS, HHH.

I've used it on the Silver Sabre

I used it on a few uMax machines and it worked good. Stable at MAX sensitivity. It is the only coil I ever sold though, too small for me. I feel a 5.75 would be a better choice for me personally.

Thanks for advice Diggler! HHH.
