Anyone use the 10 x 12 Widescan on their Cibola?

Looking for opinions on this coil. I currently use the 18 x 3 on land which is simply awesome, but I'm looking for more depth on the beach - as well as good coverage. Will the DD do the job so well that I can sell my Sov GT? Will it cope ok in wet sand?

I also have a Silver Umax with the 10 x 12 concentric which performs ok on the sand, but I'd like to believe my high-toned Cibola armed with the DD would do better.

Hoping my fellow Tesoro users can be of help.

I'd love to try a 10x12 on my Cibola, but honestly I still run the stock coil most of the time.

The 12x10 is a cracking coil on inland sites....it's deep, sensitive and copes with most soil conditions.A friend of mine put one on his cibola and his finds rate increased over the stock coil. However,no tesoro machine will be as good as the sovereign gt on the wet sand at the beach no matter what coil is fitted to it.Minelabs multi frequency machines are the best machines available on the beach unless you switch to a good p.i machine and even some of these won't improve on the performance of the minelabs.Keep your gt for the beach and fit the 12x10 to your cibola for increased inland performance....it will increase your finds rate if used for this purpose.
