Anyone use a lobo St. for coins?

Flintstone

Well-known member
Dose anyone do any good with the Lobo st.? How is the depth, dose it go about as deep as other detectors? I know it is a good gold detector. I have the 6x10 coil and the 9x8 coil, witch is the best for coins? thanks for help. Flintstone

Flintstone,

I used it on the dry sand at Kalifornia beaches, found about $3 in coins, fish hooks, house/apartment key, foil & melted aluminum (beach bon fire pit) in about 5 hours of hunting. Really was'nt paying atention about how deep they were. Not used to beach bunnys when I was out prospecting :surprised: either. Inother words I was'nt in the zen zone.

LOBO ST is a great detector for the smallest coins that you can find. With a 12x10 widescan coil it gets even very respectable depth on par with other machines. Keep the disc low. I do not own one, but I would love to, as some of the guys using it here have some spectacular small silver coin finds.

Thanks Guys, i have used it a time or two, but haven,t found anything deep well up to 5" but wood like to see how deep it would go in ground.
