Anyone use a FISHER Gemini-3 two box?

I'm looking at a 2 box due to a possible coin cache in my area. I've never used a 2-box, and was wondering how good this particular model is.
Thanks

Silverman,

Got one that I have not used in a few years. I think I have the ground plate option with it somewhere. It had Ni-cads but they went south. I used AAs the last time I used it but still have the charger for the Ni-cads. Would take $300 plus shipping from Oklahoma. Come with three piece rod, and sholder strap and the charger. Can send pics if you want. Will be real busy this weekend but can still get the pics if you need them. (might be at midnight) ha ha Also have a FX3 magnetometer if interested. Would take $250 (plus shipping) for it. It has a hard case with it.

Has anyone anything to say about using the two box or the fx 3? I would appreciate hearing how they have performed.

I have used one for many many years while working for the Water Department and also own one. I use it to find buried MH covers and water valve boxes. Very nice for these items and it skips over and will not sound off on smaller objects such as cans, small hand tools etc. I found in the very best of conditions I could detect a mh cover to a depth of about 3 1/2 feet. 4 at the very most. These were the standard 2ft. in diameter sewer mh covers. I have also used for cache hunting and found an old 3 leg cast iron pot 2ft. diameter about 2 ft down. Send me a personal message if you have any other questions.
