Anyone try the Excelerator 5 or 6 inch on the V3?

Wondering how these perform on the V3. I realize that they probably won't work in TX Boost, etc, but wondering if anyone has used them on the V3 and their results. I know lots of had good success with the Eclipse 5.3 concentric, but wonder if it is the best coil for me. I have bad soil and definitely get the best results with D2 coil over the 950. So, thinking it will probably be the same with a smaller coil. Or, maybe with the smaller size the mineralization will not be such a big deal. I don't know. What are your thoughts??

Thanks,
Dave

It can get interesting when you start to discuss coil TYPES and cool SIZES. For one thing, we have generally referred to search coils based upon their external dimensions in order to have a coil that will 'fit' in and around brush and rubble or handle trashy conditions. But the external housing and the internal coil windings are two different things.

For example, the Blue Max 600 and the 5.3 Black max, 5.3 BullsEye and 5.3 Eclipse all use the same housing which is about 6
