Anyone tried the Whites Super 12 coil for Relic hunting?

Has anyone that has a DFX or MXT tried the Whites Super 12 coil for Relic hunting? What was your impression of it? Did it seem to work any better than the stock coil, in either depth or signal stability? I'm trying to find out what I can because the coil came out after the MXT Edge book did.

Wow, I can get 8" on a bullet now (with the stock coil). Twelve inches would be fantastic and should mean I could hear a buckle at the bottom of the plow zone (~15-16").

I just got one, the depth is great, but ID numbers are hard to figure out. The number changes with every sweep, so I don't know if it is good or not. I have gotten a number of 25 for a three ringer, and the next three ringer will be 60, the next will be 40. It seems to bounce back and forth through the ID numbers.
