Anyone tried the new 9 Inch 3kHz coil on X70?

Has anyone used the New 9 Inch 3kHz coil on their Xterra 70 for relic hunting or coin shooting? Its strange how it looks like a DD coil, but its actually a concentric coil. Impressions from anyone that has tried it?

Hey BB, this might explain why I thought this coil was just a 6 inch. I'd SWEAR I saw a chart recently which made it look just like the little 6" coils.

/Curious to see a pic too!

I am unaware of a new 9-inch coil at 3 kHz for the X-Terra. The only 3 kHz X-Terra coil I am aware of is the 9-inch concentric. And I've been using that one for a couple years. If that is the one you are interested in, I've made several posts "bragging" about it and would gladly tell you my impressions. However, if it is a different coil than the 9-inch concentric at 3 kHz, I'd sure like to hear more about it. Thanks. HH Randy

Go to this link http://www.kellycodetectors.com/minelab/xterra_accessories.html and scroll down about half way where it says works on the X70 only.

pictures with the item description. The pic is of the 10.5-inch DD coil and it only comes in 7.5 and 18.75 kHz. If you notice, they also put the wrong picture with the 18.75 coil listed just above, and to the right, of the 3 khz. I'll give JW at Kellyco a call and have them straighten it out. Sorry they don't have the 3 khz in anything but the concentric 9-inch. But thanks for pointing out the error on Kellyco's page. HH Randy
