Has anyone done any testing with the F70 10" Concentric on the F75 LTD?

I have it, just haven't tested it yet as I rarely take the 11" DD off :rolleyes:

I used Crosby's and missed the quickness of the 11" DD Crosby likes it more for turf hunting I like the 11" for everything...

Most likely you received those results because of the red clay soil your hunting in. The great majority of detectorest in the US doesn't have that problem. Red clay soil is usually quite minerlized, and yes the DD coil would be the coil of choice. After all that's why DD coils were designed.

Hunting in the milder soil, a concentric design will give you the best results in most cases. There's nothing new about DD coils, there been around for many years.

So:
Bad ground = DD coil
Mild to medium ground = Concentric coil.
