Anyone tell me...

Deus and CTX can assign a tone to a RANGE of vdi's, not a different tone each and every one as the V3i can.
 
Fisher F70/F75 and the Patriot can change all nickel VDI's to high tones in 3H and 4H.
I found enough gold using 4H to pay for a couple of detectors thanks to that feature.

Teknetics T-2 in 3 tone gives a high tone for all coins except zinc pennies, gold, zinc, and aluminum medium tone and iron low tone.
