Hi

I was searching Google for info on an Explorer III
and I found this Czech site.

What do all of you think of this.

It may be true if so I'm saving my Pennies.

If that is from Minelab then it is poorly written and coloring is spelled colouring which is interesting. It is hard to believe Minelab would release a new detector with that poor of a PR!

A display from 0-32 to 0-127 would be something to see or the resolution of the same display would appear to be almost unusable. Anyhow, if it is from Minelab then it would be as I predicted and nothing more than features with no increase in depth, no increase in discrimination other than the 0-127 if that is in fact true, and a better shaft and weight. I think it is obvious that I am not interested in going from the Explorer11 for a few different features unless there is really some fantastic reports to convince me to do so.

However, again I see some obvious errors in the post. The post also borrowed the heart of the text from the PR from the Explorer XS when the Explorer11 was introduced. I do admit I am a skeptic at heart though so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I just spoke to Dick Schultz at Minelab in NV. He is a "bigwig" there and says he does not know anything about it. He says that site is bogus - don't believe it. He would be the guy that really knows.

Hi

The 0-127 sounds excessive I would believe 0-64 but this seems
exaggerated.

Thanks Cody for the comments.

Well, what better place to "Czech" out new info on a new detector... and I am sure they would use English spelling (colour, centre etc) in any translation rather than American- just as they do in Australia where Minelabs are hatched. If you look down the chain of "sumissions" one gives a URL to a site with most of the same name as the one with the Ex 3 info- and it opens up what is apparently the price list for a wide variety of detectors available (and their cost) from this Czech (or is it Slovak...) Metal Detector Shop. Too bad I cannot read Bohemian. If you click on MINELAB detectors, the standard ones come up, no Ex3. They sell quite an impressive variety of detectors. Wonder what they are finding over there...
