I found this today at another homesite that I decided to try out....The funny thing is that it was laying on top of the ground. It also looks like someone had done some grading in there about 2 years ago...The half dollar is to size.

Found a 1908 a few months ago its posted on here some where.Mine does not look as good of shape as yours.Nice job!!!!!!!!!

I have found several of those,I thought the first one I dug was an American Large Cent!!!Fun to dig them.All of them I have found were pre 1900 but I dont think any have Victoria on them though?

Nice find! I've got a couple of those, both are in the mid-late 1800's. Congrats!
