Anyone recommend a good set of wireless headphones for the Sovereign ???

While Im patiently waiting for the Nox, Im getting really tire of getting hung up with the headphone wire.
Please chime in..

Thanks,

My brother uses the Deteknit Headphones they come with the 1/4 or 1/8 inch plug. He uses these for his Etrac and wishes he would have got the ones with the 1/4 plug because the adapter for the 1/8 plug is always coming loose. They claim 6 hours of run time before charging. This whole setup with headphones transmitter and receiver is only $89.95. My guess the headphones would have to be very inexpensive to be included in this wireless system. My brother says no signal delay and likes this setup, but could have included better headphones and more run time before a charge. These are made either in Egypt or Turkey? The Garrett Z Linc comes with only the transmitter and receiver and require the buyer to use their own headphones, I think this is a plus. Run time before charging 30 hours, which is a lot more time than 6 hours. They advertise a faster response time between the transmitter and receiver. Made in the USA. People who use these swear its the greatest thing since the hand held pin pointer. Just my observation. By the way will be using the Garrett Z Linc this season, if the ground ever thaws out.

OK, Thanks much Ron. Wasnt sure which ones worked on the Sov. After using the Deus, its hard to go back to wires.
Wished my Deus worked in the wet salt. Oh well, maybe the Nox.

Thanks much,

Donna, maybe we will hear from Sovereign users who have used wireless systems for their units? Thanks Ron

JP, how are the sounds all mess up. Example delay, change of tone ? Example When I can have an AM radio station on it will hum or interfere with the station when my Sovereign is turned on. Further information would be appreciated. Thanks Ron

I swear by the Deteknix brand of wireless modules. First off Deteknix has changed their name to Quest detectors.
Look at their wireless products and get a setup. It works flawless with my Sov GT.
I chose the setup that has just the two dongles transmitter/receiver.
With the receiver clipped to a vest or belt you can plug in your own headphones. My Killer Bee's coupled with the Deteknix (Quest) wireless setup work just great.

I have a Sovereign XS-2 PRO now and the Z-link setup seems to be working well, but I do remember trying it with an Etrac and I had some signal delay with it.
