Anyone received the Manual yet - from sending in the little card that came with the Vision?

I don't think they are even made at this time. :-(

I can not understand how this machine was released for sale with no Manuel, have you worked out how to turn your Vision on yet crock

Didn't you make yourself look an idiot in front of jimmy sierra of all people, we have been exchanging some good idea's with each other, you really shouldn't come on other forums acting like a muppet, you do a good enough job on this one :jump:

LOL..I try to remember to turn it on. It is a fun machine :)

It's a brilliant machine crock, i have decided to get one, you should give the UK a try sometime, 2000 years of coins and artefacts to find.

Yes..That would be a dream trip ;-) Some day

Not to mention the fact that some things are different from what that printed-out material states. It could be laid out a bit better with more common terminology, such as "minimizing" the Live Controls or "hiding" the Live Controls. On some topics there's too much repetition and not enough clarity.

Still, it's a better read than nothing, but I just hope the manual gets read-over really well and comes out 'professionally' done.

I'm sure it will be posted on the White's website before we ever get a hard copy. I'm guessing about two weeks sooner, unless the electronic copy is purposely delayed.

It seems odd to me that a detector would be for sale without a printed manual. Especially one with the adjustment ability of the Vision, and that includes a capability to really screw things up with the settings and get some wacky performance. It could lead to some negative, early reviews. A risky move by White
