Anyone near Morgantown, WV?

Hey all,

Is there anyone who is from around the Morgantown, WV area and would like a MD partner? I just have a Bounty Hunter 2 but i've had pretty good luck with it so far. I also have a Treasure Mate for a pin-pointer. Thanks!

I don't know of any gold in the Morgantown area. I do a little prospecting in NC. at times. I plan to check out a couple of places in WV. on claims of gold being found there.

I live on Bunner's ridge. I have a very busy life. I am working on my house now. I MD. when ever I can, as much as I can. Nothing too planed out. Mainly when the opportunity arises.

Cool, I also like to do some prospecting as well. So far, I havent found any "worthy" gold in WV but I have found black sands and highly magnetic spectral hematite. There are a lot of igneous dikes down my way (NOT Morgantown) and the Geological survey has a good hunch that there is some platinum in those rivers. I've searched but have never found any unfortunately. I dont have a gas powered dredge so for all I know it could be down at bedrock hiding. I mean platinum is even more dense than gold so yea.

In recent times a lot of prospectors have went out and searched the areas that you are speaking of but have unfortunately never found anything. I believe there was an article in Thomas Jeffersons time that stated there was an old rotted quartz vein in <confidential>, WV. It supposedly had gold.
