General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Anyone know where I can find a 10.5" and/or 7" coil for my Stingray II?

It has user changeable coils but I can't seem to find the coils, I will call Tesoro on Monday, but doubt they have any since they stopped using them on the Tiger Shark was hoping some of you guys would have one to part with or know of a source. Also I would like to pick up a Tesoro Piranha if anyone has one they would like to part with. Thanks!
 
Tesoro can make you a 10.5 inch coil for your stingray 2 or early Tigershark with changeable coils.But since they no longer can get the connectors they will have to hard wire the coil or take the wire and the connector from you 8 inch coil and put them in a new coil ,if they do that then you can not use your 8 inch.I would send Teoro your sting ray 2 and let them hard wire it that way they can change it back or you can try to find another 8 inch and let them use it.

Pretty much what pulltaber has said....
 
If you do a search online for Tesoro pihrana for sell people have the coils for sale for the pihrana that I believe say they will work for the tiger shark or stingray. I can't remember which. On the piranha detector I say good luck finding one. I have been searching for two years off and on. I even put a wtb ad on the classifieds for one. Silence was all I got. Not one list back. Think I will buy a stingray or tiger shark instead eventually. Good luck. HH

Hey man I got my Pirahna in the nail today! Looks brand new, literally, the arm strap on the arm cuff looks like it just came out of the box, so does the rest of the detector. Works like a charm. Put a post up like I did, a few very helpful people replied, mine came from craigslist in northern virginia, I got it at a good price with the 8" coil and coil cover with it. Good luck.
