I've tried all the hardware stores and is all I can find are solid ones and I know you can't drill magnets. I want them for my water scoop. Thanks

Try Amazon (.) com .... put in this as your search item: MAGCRAFT Magnets - 1/2" x 0.150". They have other sizes as well if you search around.

I also dispose of my clad coins in Coinstar and get full value Amazon gift cards. Great shopping at Amazon!

If the magnet doesn't have to be round and you have access to an old computer hard drive; ....there should be two real strong magnets with holes inside.

I got a small speaker from a car (tweeter size) and took the magnet from it. Just need a pair of pliers and a vise grip and tear it apart:drinking: It works great for me; picks up a lot of the little stuff. When I get home, I shoot it down with a water nozzle to remove the small metal particles that stick to the magnet. The magnet is affixed to the scoop with plastic ties.

I found 1" dia. round magnets with holes at Radio Shack, they can probably be found at any electronics store.

Nothen tools sells a 2" magnet on a stick. this magnet works great .I 've got one in my scoop and it catches all the iron I dig up. Happy Huntting ,Ron Lord ,Naples ,FLA

Find an old microwave on the curb and get the magnet out of it-It may be 2 inches in diameter-- Discharge all the curreent. The magnet might be in a Chrome or stainless steel box.

I put one in my scoop and used plastic ties to hold it to the scoop. Works real good

Check out this link. Someone else posted it on a board several weeks ago. I just ordered some of these myself.
