Whats the weight?
 
Unknown. The styling looks similar to 1970s artwork often used in logos. Assuming that's a number "1" which could be an award of some kind, (i.e. First Place.) Maybe a medal that had a ribbon attached to it. The loop, if it were a necklace, should be 90 degrees from the rest of the pendant to be worn with a chain.

Dunno.. Looks like a mystery.

Im thinking fob of some kind, most likely for keys. The "1" is reminiscent of the German Deutschmark. Regardless, being sterling it is at least worth it's weight in melt value.
 
Its a religous medal meaning Jesus is # 1 in our hearts.Wayne You are correct in that it came out in the seventies.
