Anyone know what this "cat" is or ever found one?

I think this is the third one I've found. It's the diameter and thickness of a quarter and has no markings. It appears to be brass and is not magnetic. A token used in arcade games? Used for restooms or other places where one needs to pay to enter?
 
They look like the marker that golfers carry to mark where their ball lies and is also used to unscrew the spikes from their shoes.
I'm not a golfer so I guess it is still open for discussion.
